My baby turns 8 tomorrow. I cannot believe it. I am so happy for him and so sad that he is growing up so quickly. This week is such an exciting one for him. Ballgames, birthday, baptism, parties and Cub Scouts.

I am going to take him lunch at school tomorrow and eat with him in the cafeteria. He liked that last year, so hopefully he isn't too old to like it this year. I think it helps that I will be bringing him McDonalds or Chick-fil-A.

I am going to get him donuts for breakfast and then he will get to pick where we go out to eat for dinner. There will be a lot of food I need to avoid this week.

I have no idea what to get him and I am tempted just to give him money and let him pick. But part of me fells like 8 is a little young for that.

Toots is still a little under the weather so she crawled up on my bed and fell asleep. This would be great if I didn't need to take Lou to school in ten minutes and if I didn't have shopping to do.

I need to figure out what I am going to feed people after Drew's baptism. I was going to do sandwiches and fruit/veggies and salad. I need to go to Costco and get stuff figured out. I might just order a sub. I need to check on that too.

There are only 14 more school days left until Summer Vacation. Counting today. And I am so excited for summer to be here. Except for the electric bill. That is the ONLY part I don't like!!

I am hoping that we will have a really great summer and that we will get to do things that all of the kids will enjoy. I really am going to try to stay on the same bedtime/morning schedule so that we can get a lot done instead of staying up late and sleeping in...although there will be some of that too!

We will have to see how it goes. We need to make our list of things to do.
