Tomorrow Josh Barnwell is coming over to hang out while his mom is at a Drs appt with KJ. Then it will be library, gym, and swimming.
Tomorrow night is the graduating Seniors honors night at church, so I have to make brownies...I think I will make Texas sheet cake because I don't like Texas sheet cake and I can't have any!! It is so hard to bake when you can't taste!
Today was Kay's funeral. Billy put together a great slide show of pictures of her life and her family. I left before the Mass (and I am now really sad that I did) because Ruby had been sitting still for 2 hours and needed a break.
I read a letter that Greg Adolf had written to Senator Kennedy after his accident about Kay. It described the accident that Kay and my Dad were in that left Kay paralyzed. I had actually never heard the details before. And the things I thought I knew weren't all correct. I didn't know that Kay was thrown from the keep and landed on a boulder. I didn't know about the sand (that was intended for the winter snow) that was on the road in the summer.
My heart aches for my Dad and grandma tonight.
I know she is happy and that she is with my Grandpa. Dancing.
